Create an account at Advent of CodeWhat is this all about? Eric Wastl, who is the creator of Advent of Code, describes it like this.
Advent of Code is an Advent calendar of small programming puzzles for a variety of skill sets and skill levels that can be solved in any programming language you like.
When you solve a programming puzzle, you submit your result to the page and are judged solely on the basis of submission time. We have expanded this to include other aspects as well.
Challenge each other through clever solutions or why not through obscure language choices?
Put your amazing colleagues to the test to see who can solve the task in the shortest possible time.
This is a perfect opportunity to practice problem solving yourself through relatively small, quirky and fun programming tasks.
Share your code with colleagues and see how others have solved the tasks. Buzz about code. Maybe you’ll learn something new?!
A warm welcome to the cygnified version of Advent of Code by boosting it all with more approaches and analysis of solutions. It will be fun! But how do I get started, you might ask? Well, you do it like this.
